Letter from the President

Thanks to everyone who helped to make the 2014-2015 St. Louis Chapter program a success. We had a great year with eight monthly meetings that included two Distinguished Lecturers from Society. We held a one-day seminar on Local District Energy Systems at Higher Education Campuses. And we provided two drink tickets along with each of the meals for the Dinner meetings.

  • The Chapter will end the year once again in a solid financial state with operational funds at approximately $72,000. The Chapter hosted 8 monthly events, co-hosted 1 event with USGBC, and hosted a Scholarship Golf Outing.
  • The attendance was up at each of the monthly meetings compared to last year.  YEA events, Student Scholarships and Technology Awards were all successful accomplishments of membership participation.
  • Congratulations to the St. Louis Chapter officers who volunteered and were voted into office starting July 1, 2015. The 2015-2016 Chapter President will be Jim Rosick, Burns and McDonnell.  The President – Elect – Program Director will be Chris Swallow, Thermal Mechanics, Inc.  The Secretary/Treasurer will be Dan Krack, Precision Water Technologies, Inc. The Vice President – Research Promotion Director will be Jessica Mangler, Ross & Baruzzini. The Director of Membership Promotion – Publications will be Grant Irvine, McClure Engineering. And the new member of the Board of Governors as Director of Attendance & Reception will be Dan Mareschal, Burns and McDonnell.

Again, thank you for your participation and for making my job as the Chapter President an easy one.
