We’re a little over halfway through the ASHRAE Society year and we’ve reached 44% of our Research Promotion (RP) goal. So far, we have raised over $12,300, and our goal is $28,000. So ASHRAE and the St. Louis Chapter still needs your help!
In the next month, the RP Committee will be sending letters and making phone calls to past donors in our Chapter. We’ll also be sending out donor recognition gifts to last year’s RP donors, so keep an eye on your mailboxes!
Why should you donate to RP? Your donation not only supports ASHRAE’s Research Program, Handbook series, technical programs, standards, and special publications, it can benefit you!

There are two ways you can donate to ASHRAE Research Promotion:
- Credit/Debit Card payments can be made through ASHRAE RP’s website: http://www.ashrae.org/contribute
- Check payments can be made by mailing a check to ASHRAE. Please make your check out to ‘ASHRAE RP’ and mail to the following address:
If you haven’t already heard, this year the St. Louis ASHRAE Chapter is offering polos to RP Donors! If repeat donors increase their 2014-2015 donation by $50 (minimum $150 donation), they will be offered a polo. First time donors will be offered a polo if they make a minimum $100 donation. Men’s (sizes XS thru 3XL) and Women’s (sizes XS thru XXL) polos are available. They are Nike Performance polos made with Dri-Fit material and are embroidered with the St. Louis ASHRAE Chapter logo. The polos are offered in four (4) different colors:
- BLACK with GREEN embroidery
- WHITE with NAVY BLUE embroidery
- BLUE with GREEN embroidery
- NAVY BLUE with WHITE embroidery
To take advantage of the polo promotion, please make an RP donation in accordance with your previous RP donations (contact Jessica Mangler if you need help figuring out this number). Once you’ve made your donation, email Jessica Mangler at jmangler@rossbar.com a copy of the receipt of your donation and your first two (2) preferences for size and color of polo.
