BIO
Dan Baseler and Zach Epple will co-present the February presentations. Dan Baseler is President at Paragon Engineered Products an industrial refrigeration Manufactures Representative. Dan is the son of Rich Baseler where he grew up around refrigeration as his father was executive at Alco Valve (17 or more patents of control valves and system components) and then VP of LV Flieter Co (Frick Factor) and VP of industrial refrigeration at Hussmann. Dan worked with his dad in his early years when Rich was building ice rinks and industrial refrigeration systems much like Rich worked with his dad (Ben) who was a 562 Pipefitter working for National Refrigeration (Vilter) in the 30’s and 40’s. Dan came to work with Paragon in 1996 and as Rich transitioned to more permanent retirement Dan soon took over now almost 30 yrs of industrial refrigeration applications at Paragon. To continue the family tradition, Zach Epple (Dan’s Stepson) has joined the Paragon team in 2019. Zach Epple is a 2017 graduate from MO S&T at Rolla with BS in Mechanical Engineering. Zach enjoyed the conversations with Rich and Dan and was exposed to many trips with Dan to jobs sites in his early life. Zach did an Internship/ Co-Op at Murphy company, Internship at Cannon Design, and later almost 2 years working at Vestal Engineering as a Mechanical Engineer. Zach joined Paragon in 2019 to build his knowledge in the refrigeration market and continue the success of the family legacy.
