Tech Session: The Impact of New Environmental Legislation
(The US EPA, Environment Canada, and individual State-by-State legislation) On the Industry as a whole, including how we size and select refrigeration equipment and the acceptable refrigerants that can be used.

Main Session: The Impact of New Energy Legislation
(US DOE and NRCAN-Natural Resources Canada). Because, hot off the press, new laws kicked in January 1st, 2020 for medium temp condensing units, with additional (low temp) laws that will take effect July 10, 2020.

These new laws are real and anyone not in compliance will be breaking the law. And “strict enforcement” of all of it is supposed to be in effect beginning in July.

These topics should be pertinent to anyone who has anything to do with commercial refrigeration, whether they are a wholesaler, an OEM, a designer/specifier, or end user.
