Our chapter made an initial donation of $3,000 to the Harry “Hank” Sauer Memorial Research Fund in 2009.
Since then, the donations by the St. Louis Chapter, Chapter Members, Friends, and Dr. Sauer’s Family, have increased the value of the memorial fund to $12,228, as of 10-3-2011. The memorial acts as an annuity, returning 5% every year to go towards the chapter goal for raising funds to support ASHRAE Research projects. This means the memorial fund will contribute a minimum of $661.40 annually towards our goal. Please consider supporting this memorial fund to show appreciation in memory of Dr. Sauer.
