Natural Refrigerants: Here Yesterday and of Interest Today?
As the industry searches for sustainable design alternatives, the interest in natural refrigerants is growing. The presentation will review the viability of the "gentle five" refrigerants (ammonia, carbon dioxide, hydrocarbons, air, and water) in refrigeration system applications.

Supermarket Commissioning
The purpose of the presentation is to cover how commissioning can be applied to supermarkets to result in lower energy costs and to give the owner the maximum value from a construction project.
Speakers:
Jamie Horton is the managing partner of EMR. He spent the first 13 years of his career with the Trane Company where his primary focus was chilled water systems. The last five years he has spent focusing on refrigeration and HVAC systems for demanding industrial applications mainly for the food industry.(First Session)
Dave Breitmayer works for Emerson Climate Technologies (Retail Solutions) as a Sales Manager for the Mid-Atlantic Territory He has been in the HVAC-R business for over 32 years and spent 18 years with a supermarket chain in Grand Rapids Michigan. Emerson Climate Technologies. Retail Solutions provides energy controls, facility commissioning services, as well as engineering design services to retail customers around the world.
