Join ASHRAE by written application
If you are unable, or uncomfortable with, the online membership application process you may use written membership applications for both ASHRAE Society and the St. Louis Chapter
Step 1: Download and print the ASHRAE Society application from from one of the following links:
- Regular membership: 2012-ASHRAE-Membership-Application-Reg.pdf
- Student membership: 2012-Student-Application.pdf
Step 2: Download and print the St. Louis Chapter application form from the following link: STL_Membership_Form_2012-13.pdf
Step 3: Read the description of membership grades on the ASHRAE website available from this link: http://ashrae.org/membership–conferences/benefits Determine the appropriate membership grade for your experience level.
Step 4: Complete both the ASHRAE Society membership form, and the St. Louis Chapter membership form. Mail or fax the ASHRAE Society form, along with dues payment, to ASHRAE per the instructions on the form. Mail the St. Louis Chapter membership form to the address given on the form, along with chapter dues payment. St. Louis Chapter membership applications may also be submitted directly at chapter meetings.
St. Louis Chapter Membership is not automatically included with an ASHRAE society membership
You may apply for membership of the St. Louis Chapter of ASHRAE while registering for national ASHRAE membership at ashrae.org, and by paying Chapter dues along with Society dues. Existing national members may also apply for St. Louis Chapter ASHRAE membership by completing the following form, and submitting membership dues: STL_Membership_Form_2012-13 This form can be mailed, per the instructions on the form, or submitted at any regular chapter meeting. The St. Louis Membership application form is not necessary if you apply for chapter membership while applying/renewing on ashrae.org.
St. Louis Chapter dues are $75/year and must be paid in addition to regular ASHRAE Society dues.
